Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications:

Continuing Education Youth Academy High School programs offers short and focused courses for personal growth and development. Our team is currently looking for seasoned ACT, SAT and PSAT instructors for our academic test prep classes aimed at serving incoming 7-12 grade students. Test Prep classes are taught in a group setting online via Zoom or in-person at the Glen Ellyn and Naperville Campuses. Private tutoring and on-location at contracted high schools is available as well.
  • Candidates that hold an Illinois Professional Educator's License is preferred.
  • Minimum two years' experience teaching incoming K -12 grade students is preferred.
  • Bilingual or Dual Language instructors are preferred.
  • Candidates should have flexible availability during the daytime, evenings and weekends.

No academic credit is awarded. A pre-employment background check at the Colleges' expense is required.


    Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.

    These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments
