About the Opportunity:
The School of Nursing invites applications from highly-motivated candidates for a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track faculty position as an Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor. Another key responsibility of this faculty member will be to serve as the Director of Online Nursing Education.

The School of Nursing in Bouve College of Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track clinical faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Clinical Professor rank). This faculty will engage in scholarship, including scholarship of teaching and learning, and professional activities that meet continuous professional development goals. This faculty will also teach at least four courses per year or more depending on all areas of responsibility as discussed with the School of Nursing Dean on a yearly basis. Another key responsibility of this faculty member will be to serve as the Director of Online Nursing Education. Within this administrative and leadership role, this faculty will provide strategic direction, vision, management, and leadership for all online ABSN nursing programs. The Director will oversee matters relating to curriculum and program development; program delivery, quality, benchmarking and evaluation; and ensuring effective deployment of resources to accomplish the goals and objectives of nursing programs in alignment with Bouve College and Northeastern University global university system. This position will also include responsibilities for gathering, maintaining and reporting compliance with regulatory, accreditation and other legal requirements in all areas of the programs. This faculty will work collaboratively with ABSN directors across university campuses/sites such as Charlotte, North Carolina, Burlington, Boston and Portland, Maine to ensure reporting compliance with BON in the respective campuses/sites. The incumbent will cultivate a network within the healthcare leadership leading to new collaborations and opportunities for growth; and will identify potential financial resources such as grants and onsite contracts. This faculty will also work with online providers contracting with the college and university. This faculty must be willing and able to travel to other NU campuses/sites within the global university system, as needed. This faculty will work closely with Bouve College leadership on all aspects related to online nursing education.

Qualifications require a degree in nursing and earned doctorate in nursing or related field by the start date of the appointment; and eligibility for an unrestricted RN licensure in Massachusetts. Incumbent must possess a minimum of five years' full-time nursing experience, or its equivalent, within the last eight years, with at least three years' experience in nursing education; and maintain expertise appropriate to administrative responsibilities. Applicant must have proven teaching excellence in undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, not limited to but including adult health nursing, pediatric nursing, psychiatric mental health nursing, nurse anesthesia, nursing administration, nursing informatics, research, foundation skills or urban health nursing; demonstrated excellence and commitment to supporting a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
