Associate Director Online Programs

About the Opportunity


The Khoury College of Computer Sciences is seeking a full-time associate director of online programs to coordinate the development and maintenance of teaching and learning resources for online graduate programs. In addition, the associate director will be responsible for the development and delivery of recitations associated with online courses. The successful candidate is highly organized, a good communicator, able to coordinate resources and manage multiple project schedules with timelines and task dependencies, knows how to remove organizational and inter-personal impediments, and can successfully liaise with other departments and units in support of university-wide initiatives. The successful candidate will coordinate distributed resources, keep resources focused on the delivery schedule, and ensure the creation, development, and delivery of high-quality content that improves the URM student experience.


Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Education, or a closely related field is required. Prior work experience, preferably in a higher education setting, is desirable. Individual must have strong organizational and communication skills, including writing skills. Must be able to coordinate teams for planning and execution of high-quality academic products. Must have extensive familiarity with higher education learning environments, challenges and affordances of online learning, and experience with URM challenges in higher education.
